My Difference From "Volume" Law Firms  

We are not a volume law firm.

A volume law firm focuses on quantity, not quality.  There are a lot of these firms out there.  In many instances, personal injury attorneys at volume law firms can juggling hundreds of client files at any one time. Non-attorney assistants, whether their title is "case manager" or "case coordinator" seem to play larger roles in your case. Some of these non-lawyer staff assistants actually negotiate accident injury claims with the insurance companies.

Sadly, some lawyers exaggerate the potential financial recovery an injured person may receive in order to get them to sign up and retain that lawyer.  This is not how I work.  I'll certainly tell you what I think about your case, but frankly, there is often no way at the initial meeting to give you a truly fair assessment of the damages may be.

You see, every case depends on the facts: who the injury victim is, nature and severity of the injury, nature and extent of medical treatment, amount of current and future medical bills, amount of current and future lost income, etc. The fact that a john doe somewhere received significant compensation is not necessarily what you could expect to receive.

The point is, a lot of factual and legal analysis goes into figuring out what fair compensation for the injury is. But that's an honest answer.
